MALT’s work begins at the kitchen table.
So we’re delighted to invite you to join us at our (virtual) kitchen table for a lively conversation hosted by Robin Carpenter, writer, radio host and foodshed activist. A few great cheesemakers will join us live from their farmsteads: Tamara Hicks of Tomales Farmstead Creamery and Jill Giacomini of Point Reyes Farmstead Cheese Company. They’ll share their stories, and talk about how they’ve adapted their cheesemaking businesses during the pandemic. Together, Marin and Sonoma counties produce half of California's artisan cheese and these women are innovating every day.
